Albert Lewis Burdge, 79, of Cape Coral, FL was Born Dec 9, 1929 in Long Branch NJ, died of natural causes. A proud US Army Korean War Veteran awarded a Bronze Star for Heroism. Albert owned his own masonry company, was partners in Keeley’s Radiator and Glass Shop, worked for GM in Linden, NJ for 13 years, where he was known as “Red Cap,” then managed the Farmingdale Garden Apartments for 13 years. Retired in 1986, he enjoyed his remaining years with his loving family. Albert is survived by his wife, Mary Alice, and children: Albert, Daniel, Darren, Debbie, Darlene Burdge. A memorial will be held at 4pm on Sunday at the Burdge residence at 1831 SE 5th St, Cape Coral, FL with burial to follow at Sarasota National Cemetery, at 10:30am Monday.
