Voting line lee county FloridaI voted early today. I waited in line for an hour and a half. No more touch screens. Paper Ballots It’s probably a good thing, but not as fun, If they had been computer ballots George W might have “won” his third term.  Out of about the 350 people that were there I only saw two black people. This is the first time I’ve voted early. I did so because I think the is a very important election. I’m not gonna tell you who to vote for, that’s your choice. But I will ask you to Vote NO on proposition 2 (two) in Florida. I didn’t know it was even on the ballot, Probably because I don’t watch local news. I was surprised to see a state constitutional amendment for the purpose of discriminating against people. It was even worded discriminatory. Why is it STILL OK to discriminate against some people. There should be a law to prevent proposing laws that discriminate. Just a thought.

were in Pensacola, (Thanks Johnny for House sitting for me :)  )it was a long drive. but were here. checked into the hotel, nice room. First one i ever got with only one bed, (hubba hubba) Usually I travel with the guys and we get two beds or two rooms. we r so close to another state that we might visit it tomorrow, I really don’t know at the moment what state that is, but we’ll visit it. then maybe a flea-market on the way home to window shop. I drove most of the way. We just went to the local wal-mart for some banquet meals because the room has a fridge and microwave. But I decided to go all out and and get us hungry man meals, on the way back we realised that we didn’t have any forks. so while heather heated the meals I went to the front desk and got us some plastic forks! :) Michael Buble tonight, Michael Jackson another night.

Michael Buble Was Awesome! He is the Definition of cool.

so I’m a patient person. many would say i have infinite patience. But tonight I almost got impatient.  I don’t like to generalize about any particular group of people, however I am starting to see a pattern. Whenever I get behind a cretin type of person in line, it always takes forever.  Tonight I ran out to the wal-mart grocery store to get some ice pops for heather and i got in the shortest line behind a nurse and her pregnant 12 year old daughter. They were using some type of paper food stamps, not even the card thing they have now, but like food stamps from years ago, and she got the wrong peanut butter. Then her debit card didn’t work for her other items, then she came up with some cash. I don’t know if it was because my ice pops were melting, or because it was over the 23 min mark for one person being in front of me. but i almost, almost got mad. I only took 24 seconds with my transaction. they should have two separate types of lines, Drama, and No Drama. The Splenda Fudge sickles were good even though they were a little melty.

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.

I brought Heather to see Joe Biden @Aleico Arenain Ft Myers.  We just Got the tickets and got there on time. She Looked Great.  Thanks to Reverend Johnny Jr. for coming into work early so I could go see the Vice Presidential Candidate.  We had Nosebleed seats, but at least we were there. It was fun, two shuttle bus rides, long lines, hand Stamps, a bottle of water, and a Bumper Sticker From a nice gentleman on the bus. Mr Biden made a lot of compelling arguments. He talked about health-care witch is important to Heather, and ending the war witch is important to me, and the economy witch is important to most everyone. Just a fun night out, I wish it had been Hillary, Then I would have had a real great time.

First Time for Referee Albie

Saturday, October 4th, 2008

We left Cape Coral around nine this morning and made it up there by eleven. We found out it was an outdoor show, and i didn’t bring any sunblock. So I got a sunburn. It was my first live event as a referee. It was very overwhelming. But I figured sink or swim. I may not have swam but at least i didn’t drown.  I messed up a little here and there, but overall I did OK. I got kicked in the head by accident. But I’m feeling great. I refereed four out of nine matches. including the two main events, the cruiserweight championship and heavyweight championship. Kewl day all in all.
