Jack Benny: An intimate biography

It’s an alright book so far. I like Nonfiction mostly. I prefer autobiographies to biographies but when there is no autobiography available I will read the biography. Jack Benny is cool. I listen to his radio show most nights.

Survivor, Lost , American Idol and I finely got around to watching an evening with Kevin Smith 2, It was funny. Lost was great. It explained a lot for a change. I baked two loaves of Whole Wheat Bread, It took a long time and turned out kind of heavy, but it was tasty. No thrift store today, me and john are on a budget.

First day back to work, Johnny was off due to a scheduling error. So they stuck me with a new guy to train. and to top it off the Big Boss was there. Not a fun day. But I got through it. I just went to my happy place in my mind and let my autopilot work for me. Mean Jean also helped me out. After work I went to John’s place to pick up his computer. He gave me some old Star Trek Comics (thanks J). We went to Sweet Bay for some lotto tickets. I worked on his computer until about Seven, It was the power supply. Fixed it. Then a Double American Idol, and ECW. Then some Cleaning while listing to some Miranda Lambert and Kellie Pickler. Now some Torchwood. Then Sleep to do it all over again tomorrow.

Stayed home all day and watched a bunch of different Sci-Fi shows. I finally finished Battlestar Galactica TOS. Cool Ending. Now to watch Battlestar Galactica 1981 before the fourth season of the new Battlestar Galactica starts.

Today was my rest day and It was great. I slept until one PM. When I woke up I finished watching the Nascar Race witch was rained out the night before. My foot didn’t hurt as much today. It was probably the placebo effect because it worked too fast. But hey it doesn’t hurt as much, so Yay! I took some naps and watched WWE Raw.  I took out the Recycling and Garbage, Did some laundry, Dishes and watched big brother from Sunday.  Then listened to Liveaudiowrestling. Now Maybe I’ll watch some Star Trek in my sleep.

After work Frankie and I went to Publix. We met Johnny there and went shopping. When I dropped John off, Mean Jean was there Frank and I hung out with her for a few minuets. Then me and Frank went to McDonald’s. then to my place to watch the Oscars. Waiting for the Oscars we watched the Nascar Race. It was the first time Frank watched Nascar, and a car flipped over and caught on fire. He loved it. We filled out Oscar ballots I got two right and frank got nine right. Kerri Russel looked beautiful. While the Oscars were on John called, apparently he had spent like three hours on web MD. He looked up all my symptoms and said the problem I’ve been having with my foot is a lack of magnesium dew to the diabetes. So while dropping frank off we stopped at the CVS Pharmacy and bought magnesium. On the way out of the store a woman came up to us and said she was out of gas and out of money and asked for three dollars so she could get home. I don’t know if she had a real problem of she was a beggar. But my being a nice guy, and paying it forward, I gave her five dollars. Frankie was so impressed with me helping the lady out that when we got to his place, He gave me the five dollars back. When I got home I took a magnesium, Started watching some WWE and fell asleep.

So Mean Jean stayed an extra half hour for me so I could get to Kiwanis to get a cabbage patch kid from the babyland hospital in Georgia. Yesterday I wasn’t sure if it was a real one, or just a well made home made one. so I looked it up on the Internet. It was real, but when I got to the store It wasn’t there. but I picked up 6 more regular CPKs. Then it was the night to visit my parents. I did some shopping for mom and dad. At my parents we had Chinese food and watched some TV. I printed out all the maps for the Wrestlemania trip. I helped their neighbor move a heavy heavy table top. When I got home I was so tired I just went to sleep.

So I went to five thrift stores looking for an old car stereo, like a cassette tape player or 8 track, anything that I could listen to my Sirrus satellite radio through until I can get the one I want, one step at a time though, I’m just so happy now with the new Car. No luck, But I did find 13 Cabbage Patch Kids, I bought 8 of them (I’m on a budget) for a dollar a piece at the north Kiwanis. I haven’t been there since Johnny moved to the other side of town, so I hit the mother load. I’m going to try The other two thrift stores tomorrow I didn’t try today. I dig thrift stores, It’s like the flea market and yard sales witch I can’t go to because I work on the weekends. The car drives great, A trip that would have taken over five hours in my old car took only two hours. After I got home, I watched the Democratic Debate from last night. Hillary did good, but I’m scared for her. It’s going to be a close race.

After Kiwanis I picked up my Dad at wal-mart and took him home. It was mostly a TV night. Watched Torchwood, Survivor, Lost, American Idol and more Torchwood. I had chicken and grapefruits.

On my way to work the mechanic called me, I called my parents to tell them to call the garage.  While at work I called my dad to find out what was going on, trying to prepare for the worst. But it was all good news. After work my dad and I picked up the my car. They said it was all good. I was very happy. Then me and my dad washed our cars together.  Then after my shower I went to visit Steve. I hadn’t seen him in a while. That was cool. Steve liked the car. Then I went and picked up Frankie, He liked the car. We went to Publix on Chiquita.  I got a sub. It was good.  Watched  Mythbusters and American Idol.

Woke up early today did some housework. My dad picked me up and took me to the DMV, I paid all my stuff and my car was legal Then we went to pick up johnny and stopped by Frankie’s to give him our part of the Hotel money.  Then Me, Dad and john picked up my car. It wasn’t running the greatest. We all went to Wal-Mart for new tires. Johnny put a lot of money twords the tires and my mom helped out with the rest. Then we went and dropped the car off at the mechanics. The guy we dropped the car off to was convinced that I needed a new engine :(  He said it would be about $2,000!! :(  but he said he’d check it out. I was nervous all night. I was Freekin’ Out.

So Dad picked me up today to go to Wal-Mart to get stuff to hook up my radio in my car. While I was instaling my cdplayer, I heard a pop. it was a fuse, and My CD player. I found out later from the neon forums not to hook up the dimmer wire, as it will short out the radio. too late for that mp3 sd card usb player. oh well live and learn. Tomorrow is the big day. I register my car and make it legal.

My mom picked me up for work, then I dropped her off and went to work. It was a normal Sunday. accept the Hot chick at work was talking to me more than normal. It is funny, when I was 245lbs I was invisible to women, The wold not make eye contact with me. Now at 170lbs the girls talk to me, and touch me and giggle a lot. I’m not used to that. It freeks me out. After work Me, Frankie and Johnny went to MacDonald’s. That is always fun, to see how they are going to mess our order up. Today it was the Unsweet tea. Both the sweet and Unsweet was Sweet. I told the manager and she didn’t believe me. after about five minutes of telling me it wasn’t sweet, she finely tasted it and said wow it is sweet. So then I got my tea. by then my food was cold. Most people wouldn’t like that, But me it’s not just a meal, It’s an adventure. We dropped off johnny at the liqueur store.Frank and I went on to wal-mart for some groceries. We saw my mom. Later wile I was going to the car audio section I saw a pretty girl and I smiled at her and she smiled back, no big deal being that I’m visible now. While I was checking out install kits for my car, she came up behind me and was giving me advice on what to buy for my car. She helped me and I thanked her. Afterwards Frankie told me she was flirting with me, I had no Idea. I keep forgetting that they see me now. Too bad, She was Hot. I think she was one quarter Asian, I liked her face and small boobs, Frank said He liked her butt . It never enters my mind that they see me now. I will learn, soon I hope. But it made me feel good. After my mom dropped me off, I worked on hooking up my CD player in my car, Then after my shower I watched the Daytona 500 and fixed my soap dish. Now to sleep. Dad will be here early tomorrow to give me a ride to get fuses and wire nuts.
